MARK TIMOTHY HAYWARD (b. 1970) is a creative director, curator, writer and visual artist based in Los Angeles. Hayward got his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He was included in exhibits at Randolph Street Gallery, The State of Illinois Gallery and Chicago Botanic Garden. He presented solo exhibits at MWMWM Gallery, Chicago, and Abel Joseph Gallery, Brussels, Belgium. Professionally, he was head curator of the International Museum of Surgical Science and Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. He was Director of Special Projects for Tom of Finland Foundation. His poetry has appeared in Mein Schwules Auge and Starfucker. His documentary film credits include The Advocate Celebrates 50 Years and California Sober. Hayward also volunteers writing with K-12 students at 826LA.
